Beautifully handcrafted by Italian artisans, the stopper is made of glassy paste from Murano which is finely molded into a Victorian style cameo head and surrounded in nickel-silver alloy. The clear glass inkwell comes filled with blue ink and the nickel-silver embellishments on the front include a pen rest, which is delicate looking but sturdy.

A lovely light blue Murano glass dipping pen matches with this inkwell perfectly and is sold separately.
