Damask is a weaving style or technique that originated in the early Middle Ages near Damascus, Syria, and was practiced and perfected in the weaving centers of Italy. The intricate floral patterns have proven immensely popular in upholstery, wallpaper and elegant couture items. Rossi 1931, one of the most prestigious paper-making companies in Italy, has created luxurious cards using two of these patterns. Cards with a grey background have one design, while cards with a turquoise background have another. Both come in sets of 10 cards and envelopes, as well as 10 creamy inserts on which to write your message.
