Rossi AD 1404 Charta Italica Deckle Edge Fold Over Cards
The Rossi AD 1404 Charta Italica is an exciting rebranding of the Rossi stationery line previously known as Arturo. This collection holds a very exclusive group of stationery products that have a unique “Corona felt” finish that is luxurious to the touch. The AD 1404 Charta Italica stationery line features soft, felt-textured papers with a subtle deckle edge that have been designed exclusively for Rossi by the Cartiera Magnani mill.
Rossi AD 1404 Charta Italica deckle edge fold over cards are made from 100% high alpha cellulose content with a neutral pH. As with any printed stationery, the weight of the paper is a critical element and sets the proper tone for your event. You’ll immediately notice the thickness of these cards while you relish the divine texture of the “Corona felt” finish. This meticulousness is possible because the AD 1404 Charta Italica cards are produced on a special cylinder mold machine. AD 1404 stationery is ideal for all writing and printing purposes, including fountain pen and calligraphy ink, engraving, letterpress and professional digital printing. Cartiera Magnani in collaboration with Rossi 1931 produces the A.D. 1404 line of fine note cards. The Cartiera Magnani name has been synonymous with the production of fine Italian paper since 1404. The company achieved worldwide success and recognition in the 18th century when it began exporting its watermarked paper worldwide. Between 1770 and 1800 the Magnani name became a hallmark of quality and luxury. The emperor Napoleon chose Magnani wedding invitations in 1810 for his marriage to Maria Luisa of Austria. The original mold is still held at the mill.
