Alexandre Duboc "La Flèche" Fountain Pen - Limited Edition

As low as $595.00

The "La Flèche" Limited Edition Fountain Pen is the first time pen maker Alexandre Duboc has created a series of pens, which are actually made in collaboration with Papier Plume. What stands out the most is the pen cap. It is a very long, black ebony from Gabon sheath that houses almost the entire fountain pen like an arrow in it's quiver. La Flèche literally means "the arrow", so drawing out your pen from it's cap should feel all the more special. The body of the pen is made of a gold resin fractal so that it shines in strong contrast to the darker ebony cap. Currently, only seven of these pens have been made and come in a variety of nib sizes

About Duboc

Alexandre Duboc has been making one-of-a-kind pens in France since 2002. Not one of his pens is just like another. He goes about making his pens using a minimalist approach as a way to reflect their integrity. He doesn't make his own acrylic for building pens, but instead uses a variety of other materials like Royal Ebony de Laos, fossilized swamp oak (morte wood), Mammoth Ivory, sterling sliver and so on. Duboc is not one for seeking media attention or establishing an online presence, which is why it can be difficult when researching more about him and his pens. This is why Papier Plume has taken on bringing these wonderful Duboc pens to the rest of the world.
