Visconti Van Gogh Irises Fountain Pen or Rollerball
The Visconti Van Gogh Impressionist Collection is a delightful range of pens inspired by paintings from one of the world's most acclaimed artists, Vincent Van Gogh. Each pen is made from a palette of color that accurately reflects the technique and emotion of each of Van Gogh's paintings. Never before have pens been created that were inspired from a specific canvas - difficult work considering the diversity of objects and techniques used by Van Gogh.
The Visconti Van Gogh Irises fountain pen and rollerball pen are made of natural Green vegetal resins mixed with swirls of Orange, Blue and Yellow resins atop a stainless steel pen body. These pens were inspired by the color palette in Vincent Van Gogh's famous painting, "Irises", 1889. Irises was painted while Vincent van Gogh was living at the Saint Paul-de-Mausole asylum in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France, in the last year before his death in 1890. Each pen will have slight variations in the colorful swirls making this fine writing instrument a truly unique work of art! Both the rollerball and fountain pen showcase Visconti’s famous eighteen-faceted design, which catches and refracts light to enhance the vivid colors on display. The pen has beautiful chrome trim with the name of the artist and painting engraved around the pen’s ring. The pen cap has a magnetic closure and can be posted. Each pen features Visconti’s iconic spring-loaded arched pen clip which opens easily and clasps firmly. The fountain pen is available with a fine, medium or broad stainless steel nib. Each pen comes with an international ink converter and is packaged in a luxury faux-leather clamshell box that contains an image of the painting alongside an image of the pen. The Visconti logo is embossed of the outside of the box lid.
