Jean-Pierre Lepine Winston Rollerball - Morta Wood
Jean-Pierre Lepine “Winston” Morta Wood Rollerball Pen
The Jean-Pierre Lepine "Winston" is a large rollerball pen inspired by Winston Churchill and the cigars he constantly smoked. The pen is actually comparable in size to those cigars. The Lepine Winston rollerball pen is made from Morta Wood (also known as bog wood). Morta wood is a dark and beautiful partially petrified oak that dates back 5,000 years and has been reclaimed from a peat bog. The peat bog’s acidity and anaerobic conditions preserve the oak from decay, slowly leaching out tannins, leaving the wood in the early stages of fossilization. The Winston rollerball pen is handcrafted in Lepine’s workshop in Jura, France. The pen’s trim and pen clip are Nickel-plated Brass and the cap unscrews to post on the back of the pen’s body. If you like your pens to run large, then you’ll really enjoy using a Winston to pen your important missives. The Winston Rollerball comes with an international rollerball cartridge and is packaged in an orange and brown gift box marked with the Lepine logo. It can use any international size cartridge or converter, as well as long ink refill cartridges.
This Jean-Pierre Lepine Winston has an exclusive Papier Plume 5-year extended warranty.
