The desk set includes a beautiful handmade e+m Ballpoint Pen with a matching fine pen case. Both pen and tray are handcrafted from a single piece of Wild Apple wood. The ballpoint pen has a high quality Twist-Action mechanism in the highly polished Stainless Steel cap to reveal and retract the ballpoint pen tip. The pen comes equipped with a Parker-type ballpoint refill in Black.

Following an artisan process, the e+m craftsmen cut a wooden block from the main wood stock and then cut a smaller piece from that block. The smaller piece is used to make the barrel of the pen, while the remaining block of wood is turned into the pen tray. This quality pen-making ensures that the pen barrel more accurately matches the pen tray, as the grains and color of the wood line up almost perfectly. This type of precision isn’t possible if the two items are made separately. Each e+m Wood in Wood ballpoint pen desk set is unique.
