The Estie Tortoise Gold fountain pen is a handsome pen that adheres to the vintage cigar shape and is made from a tortoiseshell-colored brown acrylic resin. It is trimmed in gold with a gold-plated solid Palladium pen clip, which has been designed to easily slide in or out of your pocket when needed. This pen feels solid in your hand, conveying a warmth that might remind you of ebonite or celluloid instead of acrylic resin. The way this pen feels might have you writing for days without fatigue! The Esterbrook Tortoise Gold fountain pen also features a spring-loaded cushion-cap which seals your nib and keeps it from drying out between writing sessions. The #6 JoWo gold-plated steel nibs are available in an extra fine, fine or medium point, or you can use the specially engineered MV Nib Adaptor (sold separately) to connect your interchangeable vintage Esterbrook nibs with this modern Estie pen. This gives Esterbrook enthusiasts a great way to connect the “new” and “old” Esterbrook pens! The Estie comes with one standard international converter and one international short cartridge.
