Special Price $3,650.00 Regular Price $5,220.00

The Jean-Pierre Lepine "Cybergraph 2000" is a unique, limited edition luxury writing instrument that marks the turn of the century and commemorates the beginning of a new millennium. We  only have 1 of these limited editions left, numbered #101 of 688 pens in the series. The Jean-Pierre Lepine Cybergraph 2000 is a handcrafted fountain pen made from a lovely mahogany-colored Briar Wood and highly polished, futuristic-looking Stainless Steel. This luxury fountain pen is a fusion of technology and design, where one has not been compromised by the other, but where they both act in concert to produce an organic effect. The Lepine Cybergraph 2000 was researched, tested and perfected over many months in Lepine’s workshop in Jura, France. It features an asymmetric design where the center of gravity has been lowered to give the pen a tumbler effect so that it won't roll away.

According to Jean-Pierre Lepine, the design of the Cybergraph is beyond the understanding of industrial technology, and the most sophisticated of numerical command machines (aka computers). Always thinking about form, function and aesthetics, Jean Pierre placed the ink-holder outside the pen so the writer wouldn’t have to dip the pen in ink and get the pen’s end all messy. This highly polished Stainless Steel external ink-holder can be filled from an ink bottle and then screwed onto the Cybergraph, at which point you can inject the ink directly into the pen. The Cybergraph has a Stainless Steel pen cap that locks onto the pen section by means of extensible ball-bearings in the body, and fits onto the body by a rounded chamber. The body also contains a sidelight cutout where you can glimpse the words "JPL Planet" inside. The Lepine Cybergraph 2000 fountain pen is equipped with a smooth-writing Two-Tone Steel nib available in either a Fine or Medium size and comes packaged with a flat grain brown leather case, an ink-pump and a screwdriver inside a beautifully crafted panoramic maple wood box with a clear window so you can display the Cybergraph for all to see, from this millennium to the next.
