Jean-Pierre Lepine Titanic DNA Limited Edition Ballpoint Pen

It’s time to hold a piece of history in your hands. Just imagine the words you can conjure up from the depths of your soul when you place this rare writing instrument to parchment. The luxurious Limited Edition Jean-Pierre Lepine Titanic DNA Ballpoint pen is made from a fusion of oxidized steel salvaged from the Titanic wreckage and stainless steel supplied by Harland & Wolff Shipyards in Belfast where the Titanic was originally built almost a century ago. This pen is Numbered #136 of 888 pens in this limited edition series.

With a striking design, Jean-Pierre Lepine has created the Titanic DNA Limited Edition Ballpoint Pen that pays homage to one of the greatest ocean liners that sank in the North Atlantic. The Lepine Titanic DNA features a Stainless Steel body with a Matte Black finish and a rare Oxidized Steel band salvaged from the wreckage of the Titanic. It has beautiful Rose Gold trim that perfectly accentuates the matte black body and oxidized metal ring.

Near the top of the Titanic DNA ballpoint pen’s body is a uniquely shaped spring pen clip securely attached with screws. This lovely articulated pen clip is crafted to resemble the Titanic’s staircase handrails. This handrail draws your eye up to the transparent Sapphire Crystal dome on the top of the pen, which simulates the dome of the celebrated ocean liner's great staircase. It is beautifully composed of 32 facets. The Lepine Titanic DNA ballpoint pen has a lovely Rose Gold knurled wheel that twists from left to right. Look through the lateral openings in the pen’s lower body to glimpse the ballpoint mechanism machinery inside. As you twist the knurled wheel, a Rose Gold propeller, similar to the Titanic’s secondary propeller, turns beneath the Sapphire Crystal dome. As the ship’s propeller turns, the pointed ballpoint pen tip emerges from the lower body and locks into place with a resounding click. The Titantic DNA ballpoint pen comes equipped with a Schmidt Easy Flow 9000 Black ink ballpoint refill and can use any Parker-style ballpoint pen refil.

The Lepine Titanic DNA Limited Edition ballpoint pen is comprised of 28 masterfully machined components all held together by 65 tiny screws that resemble the rivets that used on the Titanic. These screws both decorate and unify the pens’ structure. This Limited Edition designer ballpoint pen is Number #136 of a limited 888 pens series. This is a “must have” collectible for Titanic enthusiasts, nautical history buffs and pen connoisseurs.
