The Jean-Pierre Lepine "Winston" is a large fountain pen inspired by Winston Churchill and the cigars he constantly smoked. The pen is actually comparable in size to those cigars. The Lepine Winston fountain pen is crafted from a vibrant Red Cellulose Acetate that has swirls of blackness floating through it, much like the smoke from a cigar as it drifts into the sky. Cellulose Acetate is a high-quality, durable cotton-based resin. The pen’s trim and pen clip are a shiny Gold-plated Brass and the cap unscrews to post on the back of the pen’s body. The Gold-plated two-tone stainless steel nib is available in a Fine, Medium or Broad size and writes smoothly with a nice amount of spring. If you like your pens to run large, then you’ll really enjoy using a Winston for some great calligraphy. The Winston can use any international size ink cartridge or converter as well as long ink refill cartridges. A small international ink cartridge is included. The Winston is made entirely in the Lepine workshop in Haut Jura, France and comes packaged in an orange and brown gift box marked with the Lepine logo. This Jean-Pierre Lepine Winston has an exclusive Papier Plume 5-year extended warranty.
