Medioevalis - Writing Pad and Envelopes - 9 x 6 Inches
Medioevalis - Writing Pad and Envelopes (9" x 6")
Medioevalis is a line of fine stationery that Rossi 1931 initiated many decades ago and have continually refined using the Amalfi paper-making process. Medioevalis deckled stationery arrives on the scene with distinctive flair. These luxury Medioevalis writing pads and envelopes have delicate feathery deckle edges and a beautiful texture that showcases a distinctive Italian style and grace. The 8.25" x 5.9" cream colored deckle edge writing pad is the perfect size for handwritten announcements, notes, letters, random missives or lists. It contains 25 sheets per pad, plus one blotting sheet. Deckled edges add an elegant touch to these writing pads with the top edge being self-deckling when you rip the page from the pad. The writing pad sheets can be folded to fit into a matching 25-count box of cream colored 6.1" x 4.4" envelopes. Rossi 1931 Medioevalis stationery is easily distinguishable from similar products as no detail has been neglected.
What are Deckle Edges?
Deckled stationery represents old world craftsmanship. When the paper-making process changed in the 19th century and smooth edges appeared, the deckle edge slowly emerged as a status symbol. The feather edge is the result of the stationery sheets being naturally and carefully torn. This writing pad has a self-deckling top edge that's revealed when you tear off the page.
