The new masterpiece from designer Mark Braun is called design08. With design 08, Mark Braun created a fountain pen for Otto Hutt that establishes its own high standards for development, design, manufacture, and functionality. In design08, high-tech and professional workmanship both assert their place in our everyday culture and way of life.

A play with proportions is design08. The entire ruthenium-coated surface is characterized by the fine, regular guilloché lines. On the cap and the spherical, revolving finial, the guilloché pattern is rotated by 90 degrees. As a result, it acts as a guide for rotating in order to remove the cap and engage the ground-breaking Pull+Twist feature. The clever mechanical clip visibly displays the greatest level of production accuracy.
