The Retro 51 Tornado fountain pen is made from a Stainless Steel barrel with highly polished Chrome trim. There are 8 styles to choose from: a glossy Black lacquer finish, a frosted metallic Black Cherry lacquer finish, a translucent metallic Burnt Orange lacquer finish, a frosted metallic Aquamarine lacquer finish, a frosted metallic Ultraviolet lacquer finish, a frosted metallic Orchid lacquer finish, a black barrel Stealth mattte finish, and a brushed Antique Copper Lincoln Penny finish. All pen styles have a smooth barrel that slowly tapers towards the contoured grip section from a knurled top cap, which has an inset that matches the color of the barrel. The fountain pen has a snug, yet springy pen clip. “Tornado by Retro 51” is engraved around the top metal band in a tornado-esque font. The Tornado fountain pen has a threaded screw on metal cap with a lacquer finish matching the barrel. It comes equipped with a German-made Stainless Steel nib available in either a Fine or Medium nib size. This is a cartridge/converter fountain pen with a barrel long enough to hold the included converter or 2 international standard ink cartridges.The Retro 51 Tornado fountain pen is packaged in a cushioned graphic tube that doubles as a pen stand.
