Super Pliable Sealing Wax Sticks

Super Pliable Sealing Wax Sticks create wax seal stamps that are extremely flexible. These colorful sealing wax sticks won’t crack or break and stick well to cards and envelopes. This makes them perfect for sealing wedding invitations, party invites, holiday, birthday, thank you or graduation cards and sending them through the mail. Each stick provides enough wax for 12-15 moderately sized seals.

Super Pliable or flexible sealing wax is ideal for invites, thank-you cards and other professional mass mailings. They are easy to use by either lighting a candle or lamp and turning the end of the wax stick over the flame, then gently rubbing the melted wax on the envelope; or, for larger sealing jobs, load the pliable sealing wax into a low temperature glue gun and pull the trigger for a perfect seal every time. This super flexible wax seal will remain very pliable even after applying it to your cards, envelopes or packages. It is the ideal wax stick for postal mailings!

Discounted pricing when you order 5 or more pliable sealing wax sticks of the same color. Discount applied to the product in your shopping cart. If you are interested in purchasing a large number of sticks mix an match colors - please contact us by phone or email.

CAUTION: Not recommended for children. Exercise care when using an open flame.

Two-Tone Accents

You can add some flair to your seal by pressing your metal seal into an inkpad of gold, silver, copper or other contrasting color before you apply the seal to the wax. This will create a two-tone accent to your finished seal!

Cooling Your Seal

If you’re using a glue gun to apply many wax seals at a time, your metal seal will get increasingly hot. To cool your seal down between imprints, keep an ice-pack or some ice in a bowl by your side. If you don’t cool your seal down, it won’t come away cleanly from the wax, leaving a messy imprint.

Flexible Sealing Wax

In the past, sealing wax was often used to authenticate documents. Today, it is more about ceremony than security. Wax seals are great for wedding invitations or bottle decorations. A nice wax seal turns an ordinary gift into an extraordinary one! While there are many sealing wax manufacturers who adhere to historical wax formulations, the new styles of pliable and flexible sealing waxes can survive mailing through the modern postal system, thus broadening the use and receipt of cards or envelopes with this unique decorative adornment. Super Pliable or Glue-gun sealing wax sticks are also used extensively in craft projects.

How To Apply Super Pliable Sealing Wax

Super Pliable Sealing Wax Sticks can be cut into ¼” pieces and placed on a spoon that is held over a flame to melt the wax, or the sticks can melted at one end by holding them about an inch above the open flame of a sealing wax lamp or candle and then quickly rotating the wax stick. You can also use a hot glue gun to quickly melt and apply wax to many items. Don’t get the wax stick too close to the flame or it will blacken the wax. Continue spinning the wax stick until you see a large amount of melted wax create a mushroom cap. The wax is now ready to be used. Pour the melted wax onto your desired location. When using an oval wax seal, pour your wax in a circular shape. If you’re using a square wax seal, pour into a square shape. You can use the end of the wax stick to stir the melted wax into the proper shape. Let the wax sit for about 7 seconds to slightly cool, then, while the wax is still soft, quickly and firmly press your seal directly down into it and release. If you didn't chill your seal, wait 10-15 seconds for the wax to cool before removing your seal. You can touch the edge of the wax underneath your seal to see if it is tacky, or if it has cooled. Wait until the wax doesn’t stick to your finger, then remove your seal. For best results with your impression, chill your seal beforehand in a bowl of ice or with an ice pack.
