Visconti Opera Metal Silver Shadow Fountain Pen

The Visconti Opera Silver Shadow fountain pen is made of anodized avional, a high strength, aeronautical-grade aluminum alloy that feels rugged and secure, yet very comfortable in your hand. This pen writes consistently and feels balanced during long writing sessions. This fountain pen features a Silver brushed, matte finish on the body and cap contrasted against darker Graphite trim on the cap band, clip and barrel finial. The wide cap band is engraved with “Silver Shadow”. This pen features Visconti's patented hook-safe lock closure spring-loaded cap, which can be removed by pressing down and rotating. The cap can be posted, but you might find the pen well-balanced without posting. The Visconti Opera fountain pen uses a cartridge/converter filling system. The converter screws in securely; the converter piston knob will not rattle against the interior of the pen when it’s in place. The Silver Shadow fountain pen comes with a Chromium 18 Smartouch™ tubular nib in a Medium size. The special shape of the Smartouch™ nib precisely wraps around the feed, giving it a unique tubular shape. This shape allows you to fill your pen without dipping the entire grip and nib section into the ink, giving you cleaner and more efficient fills. The nib has been designed with a uniquely positioned air hole to ensure the nib stays wet for a longer period. The Visconti Opera Metal Silver Shadow fountain pen comes in a luxury faux-leather clamshell box with curved sides and a magnetic closure. The Visconti logo is embossed of the outside of the box lid.

Squaring the Circle
