Wahl-Eversharp Skyliner 50’s Rollerball Pen

The Wahl-Eversharp Skyliner pen series was inspired by Henry Dreyfuss’ streamlined design of the New York Central 20th Century Limited locomotive, not the New York Skyline. Collectors take note - these pens are made to the exact specifications of the original, so the caps and clips will fit on any original Skyline pen.

This Wahl-Eversharp Skyliner 50’s Rollerball Pen is a modern reconstruction of the original classic. It’s made from a sturdy resin and has a Palladium-plated cap and trim. The cap has an engraved “Skyliner 50” on it. The Skyliner 50’s rollerball pen is available in 3 colors: a Bahamas Blue, a Menthol Green and a Speed Red. The fine lines and funky colors are meant to evoke the classic cars from the 1950’s. To reinforce this feeling, each rollerball pen comes with a die cast metal 1957 Corvette (either a coupe or convertible) that matches your pen color! This pen uses a smooth-writing Schmidt #5888 Ceramic point standard size rollerball refill. This is a very handsome writing instrument that has heft, yet feels perfectly balanced in your hand. The cap posts securely and has a beautiful over-the-crown Palladium-plated pocket clip. This pen clip is one of the most distinguishing factors of the Wahl-Eversharp Skyliner! The Skyliner 50’s is packaged in a gift box with a 1950’s themed Drive-in design and a magnetic closure. Your rollerball pen is secured inside, sealed in a crystal sleeve box for protection. There is a Wahl-Eversharp booklet and warranty card included.
